Who We Are
Lee and Kai met each other in the early 2000s when they found themselves in the same coven. This coven, for its time, was quite revolutionary as it was international and online. Although literally half way across the world, with Lee living in South Africa and Kai in the USA, they became the best of friends and in 2020, they started a podcast together.
The Black Hat Chat live show and podcast was the beginning, however at the beginning of 2023, they decided to rebrand and give it more life by making it Into the Wyldwood, which is why you are here now.
Lee W Johnson (Red Oak)
Having practiced various spiritual paths and traditions over the past three decades, Lee was eventually guided to help others find their way. He is also an exceptional intuitive healer practicing Shamanic Healing methods as well as being a 3rd Degree Traditional Usui Reiki Master.
Lee’s main spiritual practice focuses on Traditional Witchcraft, Chaos Magick, Practical Kabbalah, Shamanism and Daemonolatry.
Rev. Kai
Rev. Kai is an astrologer, artist, and herbalist. They enjoy participating in the sacred arts and helping others find their own inspiration through engagement with the Universe as Oracle. Kai has been a practicing traditionalist for over 25 years. They have been engaged in their local community through teaching, organizing festivals and rituals, and providing networking resources.
